Adam co-founded DHM Research and is now senior counsel to the firm. He designed and administered the 1992, 2002, 2013 Oregon Values and Beliefs studies and conducted opinion research—quantitative and qualitative—across Oregon for over 40 years focusing on public policy and planning issues. He is a graduate of Portland State University and the University of Oregon School of Law.
Ethan is an Emeritus Professor in the Toulan School of Urban Studies and Planning at Portland State University. Previously, he was the Director of the Toulan School and the PSU School of Art+Design, Land Use Supervisor for Metro, and Assistant Director for the Southeast Uplift Neighborhood Program in Portland. He co-edited “Toward One Oregon: Rural-Urban Interdependence and the Evolution of a State” and he received his Doctorate in city and regional planning from the University of Pennsylvania.
Robin is Director of Healthy Democracy, a nonprofit dedicated to improving the quality of public discourse on issues that matter. It includes the Citizens’ Initiative Review which brings randomly selected and representative panels of citizens together from around the state to objectively evaluate ballot measures and give voters information they can trust. She is the former Director of the American Leadership Program in Oregon where she served for 14 years. Robin grew up in Oregon’s high desert country and is an Oregon State University graduate.
Mike was a Sherman County judge for more than a decade and Executive Director of the Association of Oregon Counties for 14 years. Additionally, he is a wheat and cattle farmer and has served on boards of numerous organizations. As Operating Partner of Frontier Advocates, he continues to participate in the development of public policy for rural Oregon. Mike is a graduate of Lewis and Clark College and received a BA Education Teaching certificate from Western Oregon University.
Amani is Assistant Director of Emerging Leaders PDX which provides pathways to leadership for students of color and aspiring professionals. She has worked with DHM Research, Oregon Community Foundation, and the Oregon Program Evaluations Network (OPEN) focusing on opportunity for young and emerging leaders of color. Amani received a master’s degree in policy analysis from Portland State University.
